The making of this portfolio
A first portfolio, built as a portfolio piece: why now, and how far one person can push design, code and AI in a single flow.
Why now, after 10 years without one
Ten years of product design, no portfolio. Work and referrals did the job. Two things changed: I wanted to look around, and to test one idea, how far a designer gets solo when design, code and AI share the same flow.
Hackathon, not monument
Ship a live V1 in days, keep it public while it improves, let visitors watch it being built. One theme, one content file, a disclaimer instead of a coming-soon page. Momentum over polish, on purpose.
How it is built
Next.js, React, TypeScript and Tailwind, shipped to Vercel on every push. Colors are CSS tokens, dark and light. Three languages from one source. Written with Claude Code, down to the easter eggs: live cursors, pull-to-refresh, a real visitor counter.
Still cooking
Per-project deep dives, real NRC and Episource cases, an interior page with community votes, a Figma file generated from the code. It keeps changing, that is the point.
